Q:Hi again!
I've been reading about how things have been for you when you've been buying property, and therefore would like to ask your opinion on the following. I'm a first time seller.
The house I'm selling is a 2 bed terraced, which we've lived in for 10 years. It needs alot of 'finishing off' in alot of rooms, some of which is obvious, some is not so. For example, I'm sure they'll want to put a new kitchen in, although it's fun
Q:We are currently renting a house from a private landlord and the agreemant was a 6 month shorthold tennancy agreement.
This agreement ran out on the 17th of march and we are planning to move to Scotland as soon as we can as we have found a lovely house.
My question is how much notice do we need to give our landlord as it does not say anything about this in the tennancy agreement, the only thing it does say is that we need to allow the landlord access with prospective tennents in t
Q:Has anyone any experience of doing this? We want to sell and then move into rented in the new area for six months or so, so we can move quickly, chain free, when we find the right house.
Are there any considerations in getting a new mortgage?
Any advice generally?
We will be repaying some debts by doing this and living in a cheaper area, keeping a deposit ring fenced for the purchase.
Any advice welcome

Q:Hi all moneysavers,
I have recently returned from an inspection trip to Cyprus, having bought a 2-bedroom apartment off-plan. I paid part of the holding deposit with my nationwide credit card and the rest I will be doing, once savings are moved, with my Nationwide debit card. However, that leaves roughly £12,000 (for the total deposit due within 30 days) – for this amount is it still best to load my current account (my Credit card , at present, has a low limit) and pay with it,
Q:My broker and i have fallen out over brokerage fee. She says that she told me it was due on offer but i remember nothing of the sort. All i know is that i signed some paper saying that the brokerage fee was due on completion. She has been giving me grief about the brokerage money so i have had no choice but to pay it. She owed me some money so when i paid the brokerage fee i dedeucted that. So now she has to pay that to her company. She went ballistic when i said that to her. She in now threa
Q:Hi
My neighbours are planning to build on the side of their house – I have no objection but they are leaving nothing to chance and have taken photos of my property to back up their claim – can anyone take photos of your property without permission? Or informing you at least?

Q:Hi all
We are a FTB couple who have just had an offer accepted on a home (which is lying empty) at £155000. Originally the price was £170000 and then recently £165000. We originally put a bid in at £152500 but that was rejected…….now after a bit of haggling £155000 has been accepted. OMG!!
The house is in a very good desirable area, semi, 3 bedrooms, good school catchment, garage, drive for two cars. However the house is in need of some work internally, possibly a ne
