Q:Hi,
We have been to see a house which we are going to put an offer in for, but our budget is MAX 183K. The house is on for 188K – more than we want to spend on this house – but we really like it, just not at this price. We are going to put in an offer for 178k. The EA thinks we can pay 185K for a house but this house is really not worth it. How do we aproach this so we get house for price we want to pay not for what we can pay?

A:You need to speak to a professional. Get yourselfto a CAB or debt counselling office pronto.
Good luck.
Q:I own a flat outright and it is worth about £130,000. I currently rent it out for £350 per month. I have mortgage of £120,000 on my own home. I am thinking of selling my flat to pay off my mortgage but have been told to mortgage the flat to release some equity to pay off some of my existing mortgage. I really would appreciate any advice as I am a bit clueless!

Q:Hello,
We are buying a house with a missing chimney breast in the kitchen. It is supported below the lintle on two pieces of wood that go right down to the ground.
The vendor says it was like this when he bought it and so has been there for at least 16 years. There is no buildings regulation approval for the work.
We know it wouldn't pass building regs, and we are planning to put it right as soon as we move in to the property – getting it properly resupport

Q:Hello,
I am buying a property with my partner. She is putting in a bigger deposit and will be paying 70% of the mortgage. She works full time, I work part time.
We are drawing up a deed of trust that will set out that any monies each of us put into the property will be marked down and will be added onto each of our shares in the property – so that if anything goes wrong we can work out or percentage shares and divide the profit (or loss!).
My partner has been v

Q:Hi
When you move into a new property do you automatically have to inherit whoever supplied the previous owner? Have been told by the supplier (who is our current one also) that you do, but wanted to make sure they're not just saying that.
