HOWEVER!!!
We have a mortgage with the Abbey National and will need to transfer the mortgage to the new house as we have had a fi

Q:I am hoping to transfer my deposit this week to my solicitor in preparation for exchange. Can anyone tell me how long it takes for the money to clear? Thanks
Q:Now that DD has left home me and hubby are thinking of the future. We live in a small lake District town and own our own tatty terraced house. I would like the money we have invested in this house to work for us. DH is disabled and can`t work, I`m on a low income.
Our house is worth about £275,000. I thought about renting it out, however we would only get £550 per month, not enough to fund the purchase of anywhere else (thinking of DD`s future here)

Q:Hi Guys and Gals
I could really do with some advice, its a bit of a long story but will try and keep it brief.
We live in a two bed flat which is in the heart of a heavy area of development of "luxury apartments". Walking distance to the station which is only 25 mins from Waterloo and pivotal to train travel to most of the country.
The block consists of 2 shop premises and 4 flats (two on two). Both of the shop premises are owned by the same person wh

Q:We have bought a property for our daughter (her name on the deeds) which hopefully in years to come will prove a decent investment for her. Meanwhile, it has been agreed that we, her parents will reside there, until such times we no longer require the property (i.e. bungalow and/or nursing home). We need to protect our interest and it has been suggested that a letter needs to be drawn up which will cover us for all eventualities. It is highly unlikely that family circumstances would e
Q:Hi
Turning 30 in the next couple of months and really depressed that i don't have my own house even though all my friends have already taken the plunge and benefited from the rise.
Unfortunately i don't have any kind of deposit and went to my local branch of HSBC to see how much i could borrow.
Turns out as i graduated in the year 2001, i can still qualify for a graduate mortgage which allows 100% borrowing.
Unfortunately that offer runs out after 5 year
Q:Hi,
