Q:Some of you may remember that im gearing up to sell with House Network. Ive paid them 199+vat for them to come over & do the photos on tuesday.
However, Ive taken advice from on here and booked 3 local EAs to come over & do valuations.
Now I like to think of myself as fairly property savvy but the 2 valuations that Ive had this morning have been SIGNIFICANTLY higher than Id anticipated. Both very similar indeed.

Q:Hoping for some clarification on ground rent and the costs we should be paying. First a bit of background, my girlfriend owns her own flat (leasehold), when the flat was bought there was a delay as her solicitor insisited the lease be changed as there was nothing to stop the ground rent being put up to any figure the owner could come up with.

2 agents have come round so far and recommend marketing it at £160k as it is. They suggest that spending £6k+ will only increase it's value by about £10k. Should we trust their judgement or do the

Q:Hi. I was wondering if you fellow money savers can offer any advice on cheap / online conveyancing as I've just been quoted £1600 + VAT by a solicitor and I'm sure I can do a whole lot better!
Does anyone have recent experience of various companies such as http://www.convey365.co.uk/ ?
I've searched and read some other threads on this subject but would be grateful of any advice / horror stories etc from recent use
cheers!
