Parents – the release of equity [release options] [releasing equity]

Q: Hello, Mother

My (59) and father (73) have a house worth around £ 250k (mortgage payment) and they are looking for two sons give some early inheritance (£ 20k each) for their help hurdles housing ladder.

Are suitable equity release options that are worth considering?
Are some limitations qualify?
Are pitfalls they should be aware of?
Does this sounds a viable option to give money now rather than later?

Any advice would really be appreciate

  • How long did it take you to sell?

Q: Sorry I duplicated by accident

  • How much does it cost to sell [silly question] [stamp duty]

Q: Sorry if this a stupid question, but I would like a rough guess on how many sales and purchases would cost us.

I thought that stamp duty will cost us approximately £ 1600 on the basis of the 1% agency fees
    selling £ 1500 based on 1%
and than solictors all in about £ this sound about right 1000

does am i missing stuff, I dont have to worry about moving expenses?

    many thanks

  • If our broker do? [courtyard]

Q: We are on the market four weeks and had 10 viewings but no offers. The feedback we get is that our house is nice, but either a little too small or the absence of a garden (one yard). The house is on the market for £ 149,950.

The two other agents we had to put our house value and the price much higher (152k and £ £ 159,950) than the agency we went with, but we think this is close enough to right price – although we are certainly prepared to take slightly lower offers.

be quite some work is mainly cosmetic but I think £ 5k will do. Frankly, with all fees etc, i dont really £ 5k and will have to make room by room the next year or so I think. • Mortgage Advisor Discretion [mortgage advisor] [changing jobs]

    Q:Hi Guys

Hope you can give me some freindly advice and some reassurance hopefully!

Me and my OH are looking at moving very soon. We are intending to put our flat on the market next week. To cut along story short, due to myself changing jobs recently (and now being payed on the last day of each month, as opposed to the 24th of each month as it was previously) it has messed up some payments coming out of our joint account. We have never missed a payment totally and they have
