Q: We have only three in our chain, Im in the middle and everyone has signed contracts, the latter was signed by our 4 days ago.
Every time I call my lawyer they told me they have tried to contact the notary the beginning of the chain, but it is not available. However, the lawyer and the beginning of the chain said that he can contact our lawyer if she is not available!
I have called several times, but feel Im spestering them,
Four days later, what can I do but sit and wait?
We're at the bottom. We signed nearly 3 weeks ago. Everyone has signed (end of chain today) now. I'm increasingly getting pi$$ed off with this whole process and almost want to cry, i'm sick of it. The completion date is now less than 3 weeks away and i know it's going to shift. I'm stuck at work and just had to tell my gf that the exchange hasn't happened. We've had the "we've just got to wait" chat every day for 3 weeks.

If you can get hold of the email addresses of the other parties' solicitors, you might want to try an email to ALL involved solicitors – it did the trick for me!
If you know for sure that your own solicitor is super-efficient and not at fault, perhaps consider emailing him/her first – or immediately afterwards – saying "I trust that you appreciate that this is not primarily aimed at you".
Feel free to use my tried-and-tested text… http://www.consolidation-debt.tk/showpost.html?p=3414548&postcount=166
I sent this at 5pm one day, copied to all interested parties including the vendor, and by 9:30 the next morning we had exchanged!
