Q: Hi,

I think this thread should be useful contributions on how to save money (especially on DIY issues) when you in your new home. For example, I know that new homeowners, a 10% discount at for getting around 6-12mths.

Im sure there are other such arrangements so that I (and many others) are not aware of. It would be great if forum members can help by giving their – it places the good kitchen, bathroom or wise men!

Personally, I am interested in savings can I round Manchester (but this thread is not limited to Manchester – so then you say on one part of the country) .

Finally, this thread does not necessarily mean doing every purchase your new home, whether one or genuine goods.

If you were really unscrupulous you would buy a cheap rent book, fill it in & take it along to get a discount even if haven't moved. IF you were really unscrupulous…….

A:Screwfix have a trade counter (warehouse) on the Whitehill Industrial Estate in north Stockport http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/hlp/TradeCounterStockport.jsp?ts=05010

A:Screwfix have a catalogue listing 14000 products, most of which are really competitive prices, but check before you buy. Spend £45 and your order is delivered free the following day. One of this month`s special offers is an 800 quadrant shower cubicle, tray and chrome towel rad for £289.99 . If this isn`t cheap enough I also received a coupon for an extra £50 off which I don`t need so will give you the code if you don`t get one (until 31st May). I have used them for years & found them invaluable. There is also a voucher for a Triton Capella shower for £111.99 which is really good. (I`ve got one so don`t need this voucher either.)www.screwfix.com

A:Anybody? Any tips?
