A strong economy? By who's measure?

An economy built on cheap credit is not strong, it may appear great, but it is not strong. To be strong it needs something tangible to hold it up, and in the UK, what do we actually make? Our manufacturing base has disappeared.

Most of the UK is a service industry, these are the first industries to get hit when people tighten their belts. This means that UK Plc is very susceptable to change, which is great on the way up, but terrible on the way down!

The ecomony is a house of cards, looks pretty, but is by no means strong!

Nice to see a company with a vested interest to talk the market up, like thier going to say the market is going to crash

House Plant Secrets.
A:MSE have asked everyone who wants to talk about House price crashes to do so on one thread (see the info from Divadee pasted below), so there is an opportunity to discuss your topic in the relevant thread, but please not another one.

After seeing the hundreds of threads started on a house price crash scenario, it is clogging up the boards.

If you could keep all discussion to this thread only and DO NOT start another threads that would be greatly appreciated.

Any threads that are started will be automatically merged in with this one.

Please do not start arguements. And please be nice to all moneysavers.

Thanks very much.

Who mentioned crash? Not me!

A:Strange that, given this is a house buying, renting, sealling and prices forum
