and an ongoing supply will however continue to support house prices.”

A:well don't think I'm gonna listen to someone about economics who's manged to save £3 out of £2 coins! lol

or are you that good and only put 1 £2 coin in, you're not Gordon Brown are you?
I think you'll find guy's signature coin collection is "tongue in cheek" after comments about the previous version in a rather heated thread a few weeks back. I agree that the economics look a bit GB though.

A:Won't be much of a shortage once the BTL brigade stop seeing capital gains and get sick of subsidising their tenants.

A:House prices are certainly NOT rising in our area.

A:Strangely enough, many other things continue rising:

Inflation
Interest Rates (although very reluctantly)
Personal debt
Government debt
PFI liabilities
Pension liabilities
Balance of Payments defecit
Taxes

Sorry for introducing some general economics into a "bricks are great/crap" thread, but the impartial people at landlords r us did mention "sound ecenomic fundamentals"…

Balance? He couldn't possibly have a vested interest could he? So who was this independent economic genius?
