We All our property was sold about 7 weeks ago all moving along pretty ok looking upward chain can even be finished this weekend, perhaps the way

on OH had a conversation with whom EA let slip that we think our view has made another buyer. ? We do not understand, I gave EA a ring and guess the one for the road had a
I go to them (I love a rant) then they started making exchuses
we think we caught them
now we know that they can t stop people viewing the properties, but a simple phone call would have stopped all
even anger when not an offer to the other property we do not feel that we can trust them so all is now on hold
the best to make, according to EA, the buyer does not have to tell when they look at other houses
but we tell them or we have other viewers
viewing, to 2.30 this afternoon
do you I would get a cup final street party organized by then

A:just got a phone call from our EA it looks like the people who have made an offer on our property paid for local search etc will be making an offer on the one over the road ( i hope they are very happy !!) but heres the good news
our EA has got a first time buyer who is looking at the one over the road and he wants them to look at ours so theres hope yet but i'm not holding my breath

now i know why i've not done all this in the past

just had another call from EA confirmed they are going for the one over the road
buts its ok because the EA says he wants us to know he's sorry
my answer to EA was along the lines of &; i don't really care what he wants&;
i hope he'll be really happy with me as a neighbour!!!


A:Undoubtedly they will come back and view your again. At which you make innocent throw away comments, &;we don't have the drains problem that across the road does.&;

A:God idea RID. Buying and selling property can be a dirty game and you've sometimes got to resort to these sort of tricks.

over the road from us there is the same type of house as ours except its vacant up for sale with the same EA as us saw the agent showing somebody around who looked familiar &;that looks like the son of the people who are buying ours&; i said to OH. no it can't be we said EA would have said something so we thought nothing of it (we have paid for search fees and others up the chain have done the same possibly more and so has our purchaser )
on thursday OH had a chat with EA who we think let it slip that our purchaser has booked another viewing. ??? we did not understand i gave EA a ring and guess what its for the one over the road

Ugly. They either want to buy the other house at a cheaper price or use it as leverage to get the price down on yours.

Be quick on this. Get someone you know to veiw the other house and put in an offer above the price for yours. They can retract the offer once you have exchanged.

No way would I do this as it's underhand and messes the other vendor about. Not bad idea though.:rolleyes:
