Packages then? [asking price] [hello everyone]

Q: Hi everyone Im after a little advice please, I and my partner

FTB and we have seen a house we want, but its priced to “sacrifice to £ more than 185,000, the house is a two bed semi which much work to do to the house next door sold last week for 200,000 £ but a lot of extra work was done to it.

What I don? t know is why would you put in “offers over” and can only offer the , offering or brutal?

Many thanks

A:If you don't think it's worth the £185,000 then you can still offer under. The worst thing they can say is no!

Sometimes 'offers over' is used to drum up lots of interest and initiate a bidding war, but you'd expect it to be be very keenly priced. Sometimes EAs use it as a way of letting their vendors down gently when they have unrealistic expectations on price.
