Property rental – Getting accepted [debt management company] [poor credit history]

Q: I am currently living in private rented accommodation and I have to move if my landlord is selling the house.
I have trouble somewhere to go if I have a bad credit history and Im told that I just past the credit check as I Already using a to help me pay my debts off.

I have the money to pay, a steady job with regular income and I can afford to pay the rent each month problem.

The an issue when I can not get pass the credit check I have to go back into private rented sector rather than through a broker. Unfortunately I can not all private landlords who have property to suit needs.

I I have found a wife and 4 children, but Im the only breadwinner in the family so everthing should be made clear by me and my name.

Is something I can do but go private renting?
Are all brokers likely to me?
What on mortgages, help me probably in the same situation?

I only have 3 months to sort the situation and I prefer these earlier rather than later.

Having bad credit is self inflicted, but it is difficult to deal with life as you have.

A:Some councils run a "bond guarantee" scheme – and they do most of the pre-vetting of tenants – so landlords know that they are taking on reliable tenants. You could talk to the Bond Board, say that you do not have a deposit, and see if they can help

A:What area are you in? I work in Nottingham and at work we've just introduced a "Good Tenant" scheme – basically we'll get references from the previous landlord and credit checks and the prospective tenant gets issued with an acceptance card. Have you asked your local council if they have a similar scheme?

Also, book an appointment with your council anyway and go and speak to their housing options team. make sure you apply to go on their waiting list.

Technically speaking, you would be in priority need as long as you have children under the age of 16, and from the sounds of it you're not intentionally homeless as your landlord has sold your house. You can't make a homeless application until you have 28 days before you need to be out. If you haven't found anywhere else to live, they would have a duty to give you temporary accommodation until they have assessed your homeless application, which has to be done within 33 working days of you applying as homeless.

Good luck. If you need to know anymore, feel free to PM me.

Good helpful sensible reply congarts ;-)
