Q:What rights do consumers have regarding developer reservation fee refunds – with regard to consumer law etc…?
The property developer charges a ￡2,000 reservation fee which they state is non refundable and the remaining deposit is due within 30 days.
Surely for instances where the development doesn't go ahead?
Reservations Software.A:Paying for something which does not happen is theft or fraud. If you pull out you loose the money, If they pull out they would have to give you a full refund.
