Q:I exchanged last week and am completing in 4 weeks time. I have bought the flat below my partner and it was a private sale (no EA). There is no chain and the vendor is moving out (supposedly) a few days before completion. He currently has keys for my partners so there is a level of trust there already.
Usually there is an EA to drop/pick keys up from on day of completion. However as we will both be at work I am not sure what common practice would be. Anyone have any experience of th

Q:had a survey and it has come up saying it is a lot less than what is on for and what we offered, so we want to renegotiate, do we do this through the EA or through the solicitor?

Q:Is it someone who has viewed your house?
Or is it someone whom the EA made an appointment for and never showed up.
My friends EA claims its both,so she is making all these appts for people,but they are not turning up.
She is worried if she terminates with this EA and goes to another that she will need to pay fees if any of these people turn up through her new agent?
