Q:Hi all!
Well after months of searching, sorting, survays, offering, rejecting and accepting me and my fiance got the keys to our very fist house and grabbed with very empty hand the first run of the property ladder.
We had the offer accepted on the 18th October and managed to complete within 2 weeks. Great stuff!!
I have just bought a new set of locks for all the doors and we only have one week to do most of the bits we want to do before i'm back at work ri
Q:I am a trainee solicitor who does a fair bit of conveyancing, i am now buying a house and cant believe the amount of stress involved at the beginning! I am now much more sympathetic to my clients. First house we agreed a price but the vendor then decided she wanted more money (its a matrimonial split and i dont think she wants to move so is making it difficult). Now i am trying another house who keep on changing the viewing appointment (dont they want to sell!?).

The EA have tried to contact them but the previous owner hasn't replied. Its really sad as there are photos of the kids, kids toys & clothes, etc. What do we do with that sort of stuff? I

Q:Hi all,
My partner and i are hoping to buy our first house in the new year, and have saved enough for a small deposit. I contacted a telephone-only mortgage broker reccommended on this site, giving them a few basic details (salary, no outgoings, good credit ratings) and the broker told us we could expect to get a mortgage of up to £170K. I have a few questions:
The broker told us to go ahead and look at houses, and to come back to him once we've had an offer accepted.
Q:Hi

We didn't know what gas compnay he was with I asked the solicitor but they were unable to help so I asked the guy and he said he would get a bill but at the moment he hasn't done so.
