  • Buying New New Price is Negotiable?

Q:I've seen some nice new apartment developments which I'm interested in buying an apartment in. As a first time buyer my budgets really stretched. Do you know if the advertised price is negotiable here as it generally is when purchasing an old house? The advert says things like 50% reserved already so either it's popular and they're going to sell them all at full price long before it's built or it's just a marketing ploy. Any advice?

Lastly, has anybody had any recent experience with lenders offering mortgages

  • Buy To Let – First Time Buyer

    Q:Hi all,

I would like buy a property, which I woudl then like to rent out. I have been doing research into this – however am getting conflicting advice. I have been told that a 25% deposit would be need, as a lender would only lend on 75% of the propoerty value. I have spoken to a mortgage advise who informed me otherwise.
I will appreciate some advice on this. As I am a first time buyer – are there any restrictions on doing this? Also, is it the right to be thinking about this
