Q:I have had a flat for 10 years, 7 rented out and have now found a buyer, problem is his surveyor has stated that he would not recommmend a mortgage on the property due to it being a flat above a shop and having shared access.
In a spin at them moment as it is essentially worthless but I have asked my original surveyors why they would have offered it to mortgage on these same issues, and they are going to reinspect it.
