After reading here loads, and having had no offers on my house (only on market 6 weeks) but thought I would give private online selling a go.
Put it on yesterday with 2 free to list firms, have now just recieved an email with an offer for the house.
Now whats strange is that the picture only shows the garden, they havent asked to view the house, just straight away made an offer.
Also its from a yahoo email addy, and the english is not quite how it should be.

Q:I put a 2 bedroom weaver's cottage ( built in 1750) on the market in April. It is very small, with a reasonable garden and is in a nice village in the north west. There is an issue with parking over which I have no control. I thought the price (￡115,000) might appeal to a FTB but nobody has shown any interest, after a few viewings.
