Basically I have £75K to put towards a deposit for a property.

Q:Hi.
I put in an offer on a repossessed house last wednesday. The estate agents said, because a company are selling the house, that they can't tell me whether the offer has been accepted until I've met with the estate agent's mortgage advisor. I was told the reason for this was to make sure I could afford the property. However, I faxed a copy of my Agreement in Principal as they requested when I put the offer in so feel they are taking a bit of a liberty!
Q:Hi, sorry if this is the wrong section, I was hoping there might be some people here who might be able to help.
Feeling mostly bored of my job in IT, I am considering a change. As boring as it might sound to some, I think I would find being a Mortgage Advisor quite interesting.
But to be sure, I would like to find out more about the job. What I am looking for is some material ?how to be a mortgage advisor? type book (the only ones i?ve found are U.S. based), or possib
Q:Hiya,
This might be a stupid question but we are first time buyers and need to move in August so just over 5 months away.
We have been told by mortgage advisor to go ahead and put in an offer if we see one we like.
My question is, is it too early to start looking? I have no idea how long it takes to buy a house! I am veiwing some properties next week, but I am worried if we see one we like it will be too soon for us to put in an offer.
Any sugg

Being a ftb and reading other people's stories where the some lease details were not checked properly, I started to get concerned as to w
Q:Hi, Sorry guys this is a bit long.. I?m after peoples opinions on what to do. I put an offer on a repossion on 20th Nov for 12K less than the asking price. I went away on holiday and returned on 1st Dec still not hearing anything. Anyway rang the estate agents who told me that the offer had been accepted and that the survey had already been done, so all on track. They also stipulated that they wanted to complete within 28 days
After speaking to the mortgage advisor she told me that

Throughout the buying process, we have been told by Mortgage advisor and Solicitor that as soon as we exchanged contracts, we would have to have buildings insurance in place.
