Q: First time here is a BIG hello, this is a great site in general and your advice would be most welcome.
Before Christmas we apply for a house through a broker, paid the admin / search fees and were told we were approved and could go late January 2007 – this is my partner and I.
The broker called us to say of the existing tenants are let down by their mortgage provider and would be delayed for a few weeks, we think, and hanging around in late February 2007. It said they wo
Q: As indicated in the title of the thread, we are puzzled about the surveys provide. We have seen a 1930s semi and made an offer on the house. It seems in good condition is very dated, no gas connection and looks like it needs rewiring. We will definitely get a survey done on the property which is in addition to the one performed by the mortgage lender. What we have done research and how we know that the renowned expert.

I am buying the house just in my name and will have my mum living with me, what does this

Q:Hi
I need some advice/help. Due to a relocation of job, i need to sell my house ASAP. Due to the time of year, i am unlikely to get much interest in my property. I had thought about renting out my current property and buying another where i will be working. The rent i would get would cover my mortgage costs and anything else that may crop up.
Would a mortgage lender give me a second mortgage based on what i was earning or would it be offeset against my other mortgage???
Q:Having got the survey back a week ago, there is a bow in the front wall which we have agreed to pay to get fixed as it's only quoted at £350.
We're just wondering when people would recommend that we get the work done? Should we exchange in a few weeks, get the work done and then complete or should we exchange and complete at the same time, with the mortgage lender retaining the money needed to complete the work?
Q:Hello, Ive never rented out before, do I need to tell or get permission from my mortgage lender. All advice welcomed
