Have exchanged contracts and buyer wants to complete within a month ,what would happen if they pulled out of the sale BEFORE completion?

I Have a mortgage on a property which technically is my parents, but the mortgage and deeds are solely in my name at the moment. I am looking at ways to pay the mortgage off and transfer the property back to my parents names.
What costs would be involved? Is it classed as a transfer of equity? Also would stamp duty be payable? No money will change hands at all.

Q:I have just been reading about this company, which for a one-off lifetime fee (250.00 +VAT), will find you properties in a chosen area and negotiate a selling price, usually negotiating the price downwards.
They deal mainly in Auction and 'Distressed' properties (ie. re-possessions etc).
Does anyone have info about or experience of this company?

Can we renew insurance on a monthly basis until we move?
If we pay up front would we get back most when we cancel?
Should we risk not renewing instead of forking out for a full years insurance?

The people that own the house that runs at the end of out property have built an extention, yesterday they asked if they could buy a small strip of our land at the end of our garden, this will enable then to access the rear of their property much easier.
My question is how do i find out how much this strip of land is worth… it will only be about a foot wide by about 6-8 foot long.

Im a little confused as this is the first time we have moved house. Can anyone please advice on where this 10% comes from or do i have to search hard to get a large amount of cash !!!

Q:Hi i am thinking of buying an apartment but undecided on which floor to purchase
there is a option of ground floor, first floor or second floor. i personally am thinking of ground floor as no stairs to climb. however can anybody please tell me the benefit of either floors. Also there is a lift available if that helps
